The open water certification is broken down into 3 phases:

Phase 1: Knowledge Development

Academic studies are primarily completed online, at your own pace, this allows you more free time to soak up the sunshine on your Florida vacation. When you arrive, our instructors will review the concepts you learned in a real world setting for better comprehension. With Key Dives, you can complete the academics via PADI or SSI, it is your choice. Please contact us and we will help to get you registered for your online academic studies. Cost: $245

Phase 2: Pool Session

We do more than teach people how to dive, we teach them how to be good divers with eco-conscious habits. We allow for a full day of pool training to get you ready for your ocean dives. Not only that, but we do not rush you through a half-day pool session just so you can get on the boat the same day, we want you to learn at your pace!

Phase 3: Ocean Dives

We will take you to our spectacular reefs for 4 certification dives where you will apply what you learned in the pool. Includes use of all equipment, dive computer, and digital certification card. 4 students maximum per instructor. Cost: $350 – Add $50 for a class size of 1.
