What is the Advanced Diver Certification?

The Advanced Diver Certification is the next step for divers who want to take their skills to the next level and broaden their experiences by becoming an Advanced Diver. The Advanced course builds upon the skills you developed in Open Water and increases your knowledge and comfort in the water. This course is comprised of five dives that allow you to gain experience in navigation and deep diving, along with three other adventure dives of your choice. You can select from a variety of specialties based on your interests.

Course Breakdown

1. Online Learning

Start your advanced training with online learning modules where you’ll review key diving theories and principles. The online class is quick and easy compared to your Open Water certification course. Each specialty has its own section, and you only have to complete the five specialties you choose, but you are welcome to learn about them all. You must complete the Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation sections, but the other three sections are up to you.

2. Five Adventure Dives

To complete your certification, you’ll participate in five adventure dives. These dives provide hands-on experience in various underwater environments. Here are the different adventure dives we offer:
